Commercial Roofing Service Manager

LOCATION(S): Racine, Wisconsin

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

REPORTS TO: President

Position Summary:The Commercial Roofing Service Manager oversees field, sales, and office operations, prioritizing customer base expansion through effective communication, professionalism, and exceptional service. Duties encompass field support (assisting/checking crews, quality control, account management, roof evaluations, estimates) and office tasks (assisting the Service Admin, generating estimates/reports, contacting clients, Dataforma input), with flexibility to assist in other business areas as required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure job site safety per company and OSHA guidelines.
• Log all activities into CRM (Dataforma).
• Assist in scheduling, work order review, and invoicing.
• Prepare repair crews for daily schedules.
• Conduct daily quality control checks on job sites and repair crews.
• Meet with building owners/contacts during crew visits.
• Follow up with building owners/contacts after service calls and projects.
• Inspect roofs for necessary repairs and develop estimates.
• Assist crews with material and direction.
• Perform take-offs for commercial flat roof estimates.
• Coordinate manufacturer inspections and manage punch lists.
• Prepare roof evaluation inspections and reports.
• Motivate and develop repair crews.
• Perform quality control inspections on repair work.
• Train repair crews in CRM usage.

Other Duties:

• Attend all required company meetings.
• Enforce OSHA job site safety with appropriate documentation.
• Be available 24/7 for emergency roof work.
• Maintain a professional image.
• Develop relationships with past customers.
• Develop a sales plan to increase repair/maintenance division business.

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial roofing or construction.
• Experience in DATAFORMA software or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Participation in local community activities.
• Ability to develop business relationships.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and supervise field personnel.
